 The HTX-7025 is a
selectable 25 or 70-volt loudspeaker matching transformer. This
transformer is used to impedance match multiple loudspeaker drivers to a
power amplifier channel. Transformers of this type are typically
employed when installing multiple loudspeakers in a ceiling.
The HTX-7025 employs precision windings, which provide consistency
in response and time domain from one transformer to the next. Transformer
tolerances are vital within a distributed loudspeaker system to maintain
linearity throughout the entire speaker grid. The HTX-7025 transformer is
manufactured with select core laminates and employs a proprietary coil
cross winding technique, which greatly improves frequency response and
minimizes insertion loss.
